The average operating time per working day in hour is not estimated. Calculated value the determination of FEM group. According to the sample data it was calculated as 1,87 hours.
For the LIGHT load spectrum
and average daily operating time of 1,87 hours, the table shows
FEM group 1 Bm. For a Lifting Capacity of 5.000 kg and 2/1 rope reeving, the table indicates a Hoist Unit size CR325.20.

If you didn't find the suitable hoist unit;
-
Looking and checking the operating conditions ones more,
-
To be on safe side customer may chose the bigger size of hoist as CR4 with group FEM 2m. This means a longer expected time of hoist life for this specific working condition.
-
If you are in indecision, please don't hesitate to contact our technical staffs.

WARNING
Group of Mechanism
Higher the FEM group of a specific hoist doesn't mean
heavier loading capacity but the ability for longer time of operation
mode and much more subject to maximum loads and dynamic forces in its
operation cycle. Thus the prices get higher for the higher FEM group hoists.
For testing the products, 10% dynamic and 25% static overloadings are
applied to units in their tests regardless to their FEM groups.
For this reason for the hoist with "CE" certificate it is a
must to have a load-cell unit to quarantee not loading
much more loads.
Load Spectrum
The load spectrum (in most cases estimated) can be evaluated in accordance
with the following definitions:
LIGHT
Hoist units which are usually
subject to very small loads and in exceptional cases only to maximum
loads. |
MEDIUM
Hoist units which are usually
subject to small loads but rather often to maximum loads. |
HEAVY
Hoist units which are usually
subject to medium loads but frequently to maximum loads. |
VERY
HEAVY
Hoist units which are usually
subject to maximum or almost maximum loads. |

Rope Reeving Arrangement

The higher the number of falls means the lower the lifting
speed and lifting height, but the higher lifting capacity of hoist. ie:
With hoist model CR3 of 2/1 falls means, 10 tons capacity with 4/1 falls,
but at the same time half of lifting speed in the same FEM group.
The machines having rope fall 1/1 means the biggest size
of the group with very high lifting speed. If your lifting height is considerably
high and loading traffic quite heavy, than you can take this alternative
into accont.
The machines having rope fall 2/1 mostly preferred for
moderate heights and traffics, with moderate lifting speeds. Also check
your "critical loading height" with such machines.
The machines having rope fall 4/1 or more, mostly prefered
for moderate and lower lifting heights, with lower lifting speeds. The
sizes of these machines are smaller compared to the other machines in
the group, with more competitive prices. We advice these machines with
"MCR" or better "WCR" series especially for the customers
having "critical loading heights".
